3 Healthy Snacks | Nutrition Coach Woodland Hills

KellyNutrition

I guide my clients to enjoy a low carb, moderate protein, and high healthy fat eating pattern. This is based on the Primal Blueprint lifestyle | Nutrition Coach Woodland Hills

Sometimes it’s okay to have a snack. I believe the only way to stay on track with your healthy lifestyle is to enjoy healthy snacks in moderation from time to time. I don’t think you need to have a snack every night because you really should feel satiated after dinner, but there are times you just want to snack!

Here are my 3 current favorite snacks | Nutrition Coach Woodland Hills

  1. Grass Fed Plain Yogurt and Organic Blackberries: I like the Stonyfield Organic 100% Grass-fed yogurt. I buy the berries and the yogurt at whole foods.
  2. Chocolate and Almond Butter Protein Shake: My favorite protein powder is Primal Fuel. It comes in Chocolate and Vanilla. I just blend in some almond butter with the powder and water and it tastes like an almond butter chocolate milkshake!
  3. Caprese Salad: This one is so easy to make and you will impress your guests. I buy the grass-fed BUF Mozzarella and the heirloom organic tomatoes from whole foods. Just slice the tomato, drain the cheese (make sure its dry before you slice it), slice the mozzarella, add the slices to a plate, drizzle olive oil and add a pinch of celtic salt.
