Before Kelly was a Personal Trainer in Woodland Hills…

Born in Bowie, Maryland, I was a dancer for 20 years. I graduated in 2003 with a BS degree in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology from Towson University where I was also on the Towson Dance Team for four years. As captain of my college dance team for two years, I lead my team to win two College Dance Team National Grand Championships. I continued to dance after college as a Royal Caribbean performer and dancer with Cirque du Soleil.

With a passion for fitness and dance, I moved to Los Angeles from Maryland 11 years ago to pursue a career in fitness and business. I am certified with National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Primal Blueprint, Shift by Dana Perri, RockIt Body Pilates, NESTA Heart Rate Performance, Pre/Postnatal Pilates & Fitness,  and Pilates Sports Center Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, and Pilates Mat. For the past decade, I have been teaching group fitness and personally training clients throughout Los Angeles and recently developed an online personal training program called I’m Fit & Happy. I love to teach Cardio Endurance, Pilates, Strength, and High Intensity Interval Training because I believe this combination offers the most fitness benefits.  Challenging my clients to get the most out of their workout, and inspiring my clients to be confident, strong, and happy is what I love most about what I do.

I use different training methods to accommodate my clients’ goals. This is one of the things I love about what I do. Every body has a different story and what may work for one person may not work for another person. I love finding what “works” for each client to make the experience enjoyable for them, and the workout more effective!



It is incredibly important to incorporate resistance/strength training not only to build strong, lean muscles, but to grow dense, strong bones.
